Mission Statement

The Milford Public Library, as an integral part of the Milford Community in Delaware, supports and encourages the freedom of all ages to read, learn and discover in a welcoming environment. We strive to enhance the quality of life in our community by providing diverse, up-to-date, accurate, and interesting material in a variety of formats, which address current topics of interest. The library supports the community's desire for lifelong learning opportunities with special emphasis on promoting cultural activities for all ages. The library will respond to the evolving technological needs of the community by delivering these services.
